The Taphouse is a new 150-seat restaurant with an attached 100-seat biergarten just up the hill from Lake Winnipesaukee’s Center Harbor town docks. With views of the lake and mountains, The Taphouse features inspired comfort food alongside a full assortment of craft beer, wine, and cocktails in a cozy and relaxed environment for locals and visitors alike. With two full bars and several eclectic dining rooms, it’s the perfect destination for both casual dining and private events. The three-season biergarten is a popular hangout in the warmer weather, featuring Notch Brewing as well as other local craft brands, domestic favorites, wine, and cocktails . The outdoor biergarten offers our full restaurant menu, is family & dog friendly, and hosts live music on weekends.
Job Overview
Looking to get into kitchen or just pick up some summer work this is a great place to start no experience necessary just a willingness to learn and a desire to make some money this summer.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and food prep stations by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Support a busy beer garden with setups by organizing supplies, serving utensils with some light bussing.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies needed or low stock levels
Skills
- No Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
- Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and customer service
