Job description:
The Operations Manager for camp staff typically plays a key leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a camp, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and leading operations staff camp staff
- Managing the camp's day-to-day operations, making sure all facilities are functional and properly maintained.
- In charge of lunch/snack/water distribution and clean-up for entire camp along with operations staff
- Inventory of supplies (lunch, equipment)
- Creating and managing schedules for operations to ensure adequate coverage throughout the camp day.
- Making sure camp is set-up each day/cleaned-up, all equipment, tents etc., put away daily
- Ensuring all logistics for camp activities are organized, such as supplies, equipment.
- Ensuring that camp operations adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership: Ability to manage a team, resolve conflicts, and motivate staff.
- Organizational Skills: Competence in scheduling, logistics, and maintaining camp operations.
- Problem Solving: Quick thinking and flexibility to address any challenges that arise during the camp season.
