Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Assistant Children, Youth & Family Program Director to support the daily operations of our early childhood and school-age programs. This individual will play an important role in supervising programs, supporting staff and families, coordinating special events and enrichment opportunities, and helping create a positive and engaging environment for children.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
· Support the daily operations of the school-age and early childhood programs
· Serve as Kidsplace supervisor when the Children, Youth & Family Program Coordinator is unavailable
· Help plan, coordinate, and implement youth and family programming, including holiday camps and enrichment activities
· Create newsletters, calendars, flyers, and family communications
· Conduct tours for prospective families and assist with enrollment inquiries
· Order program supplies and snacks
· Perform administrative tasks to help ensure programs run smoothly and efficiently
· Support the Early Childhood Director with center-wide responsibilities and special projects
· Substitute in classrooms when needed
· Model the organization’s mission and values through professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions with children, families, members, and staff
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Education or a related field preferred
Experience working with children in an educational, recreational, or childcare setting
CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
MAT certification or willingness to obtain

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with availability required during school holidays and program events.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
