About the Role: The Manager of Global Curriculum Development is responsible for overseeing the creation and enhancement of training curriculum for Subway franchisees, the Field Operations team, and digital learning programs. This role focuses on delivering engaging, effective learning solutions across multiple formats. Key priorities include content strategy, alignment to brand standards, and relevance to restaurant operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and Support Global & North American Curriculum Delivery - Contribute to the development and execution of high-quality global curriculum that supports strategic goals and operational needs across internal and field-facing programs. Support content creation across workstreams by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with production timelines and brand standards. Support localization efforts for North America by collaborating with regional teams to tailor content where needed, while maintaining alignment with global brand standards and training objectives. Enhance and Deliver Training Through Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate regularly with function leads and subject matter experts to review, enhance, and deliver training content and materials. Ensure updates are proactive, timely, and aligned with evolving business needs and operational priorities. Leverage a variety of learning formats - including online, blended, virtual, and in-person classroom experiences - to support effective content delivery. Maintain and Evolve Training content - Collaborate regularly with function leads and subject matter experts to review and enhance existing training content and materials. Ensure updates are proactive, timely, and aligned with evolving business needs and operational priorities. Analyze Training Impact and Identify Improvement Opportunities-Conduct needs assessments and analyze training data to identify gaps in field execution. Use insights to recommend updates and improvements to training content that drive stronger performance and operational outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Preferred or equivalent experience in curriculum development and design. Minimum 3 years in instructional design focusing on curriculum design. Travel 30%-60% Proven ability to design and develop engaging curriculum and instructional materials that drive behavior change and support operational goals across diverse learner audiences. Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and leverage insights to improve content performance and learning outcomes. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and experience creating content for various delivery formats, including online, blended, virtual, and in-person learning. Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) functionality and blended learning strategies to optimize training deployment and learner engagement. Ability to collaborate cross-functional with teams and subject matter experts to ensure training materials remain timely, relevant, and aligned with business and brand standards.
