We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their visit
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservations as needed
- Assist guests with menu inquiries, special requests, and provide directions within the restaurant to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and positively
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest relations and communication skills
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing processes
- Knowledge of restaurant table management systems and phone communication best practices
- Hotel or food service experience that emphasizes guest relations and organizational skills is a plus

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
