We are a team because we respect, trust, and care for each other like family.As a front of the house manager you are responsible for managing all daily operations of the restaurant, including the performance management of employees. In addition, you’ll oversee the optimization of profits and ensure that the front of the house is operating at peak efficiency.The General Manager reports directly to the Principals.

As a General Manager we expect you to have knowledge in the following arenas:

Interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills.
Writing a schedule that aligns with budgetary needs, yet meets demand.
The development of side work systems.
Working knowledge of Serve Safe practices.
Overseeing day to day operations.
Training and team development with a distinct ability to guide, motivate, and coach your team upwardly.
Clear communication skills, and a calm demeanor in a high volume fast paced environment.
Subsequent Required Skills :

Language Skills ; the ability to read and interpret documents such as trade magazines, menus, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills; ability to add, subtract, and divide. You will be responsible for all of the money on premises while you are running shift.
Physical Demands; The ability to lift products and supplies weighing up to 45lbs. The position requires prolonged standing, stooping, bending, twisting and repetitive hand motions. Working with hot/cold and hazardous equipment. The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this position. Reasoning Ability; Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
Social Skills; The ability to show leadership and interact effectively with team members, vendors, and guests of diverse ages, backgrounds, and interests. Ability to interact effectively with other departments within the restaurant and within the company as a whole.
Work Environment; While performing the duties of this job the Assistant Manager is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, caustic chemicals, and a moderate noise level.
Required Experience

A college degree preferred but a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: team building, team leading, basic accounting skills, effective communication skills.
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must agree to background and credit check.
Two years of experience as an Assistant Manager.
