Summary:
Performs rework and stamp pickups self-identified or written by Air Framer or customer during the build of the aircraft.
Diagnoses faulty electronic components using computer software and multi-meter down to root cause.
Adjusts misaligned panels, trim pieces, harnesses, electrical components, and factory installation issues.
Creates emergent removal paperwork to install or replace parts at the Air Framer.
Navigates through CMMs, drawings, PQS, and installation documents to resolve issues.
Reads and interprets electrical drawings, MSDS sheets, maintenance manuals, product specifications, and service bulletins.
Performs rework on all different seat class types including electrical troubleshooting, painting, decal, and cosmetic repairs.
Trains other team members in particular field expertise (paint, avionics, etc.).
Applies electrical troubleshooting knowledge including testing voltage and continuity.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree in a related technical field preferred).
4 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs required.
Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools.
Expertise in reworking all different seat class types including electrical troubleshooting, painting, decal, and cosmetic repairs.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, MSDS sheets, maintenance manuals, product specifications, and service bulletins.
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge including testing voltage and continuity.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport; willingness to travel 2-4 weeks per year.
