The selected candidate will remain on the assigned shift until a re-evaluation is required.Industry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary: Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testingAssist in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and support repair of faulty componentsAssist with pre-flight and post-flight checks and perform maintenance and modification actionsResolve identified issues during operation and testing of deliverable productsVerify accuracy of work performed and conduct self-inspections as requiredAssist in performing system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for deliveryParticipate in determining assignment details to accomplish a wide range of objectivesPlan, schedule, and coordinate assigned activities with guidance from team leads; work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectivesDemonstrate professional workplace behaviors and adherence to organizational standardsRequirements: Education and experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma or GED) and typically 1 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational training or Associate degree).Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekendsMinimum 6 months of avionics and/or electrical experienceMinimum 6 months of experience working with live aircraft systems and flight operationsMinimum 6 months of experience and/or knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and risk mitigationMust be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).Preferred Qualifications:3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License6 months of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience6 months of wide-body aircraft program experienceExperience with production systems and lean manufacturing environments6 months of field or flight line operations experienceAbout Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
