JOB TITLE: Design Engineer

PAY RATE: $70/hour

Summary:
- Create solid 3D models in CATIA V5 for aerospace components
- Generate detailed drawing packages, layouts, and engineering documentation
- Perform model release activities ensuring accuracy, compliance, and configuration control
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to resolve design challenges
- Provide factory and production floor support during build and assembly
- Convert 2D drawings into 3D models for modernization and optimization initiatives
Requirements:
- 10 years of aerospace engineering experience (Boeing experience strongly preferred)
- Expertise in structural and mechanical design for aerospace systems
- Advanced proficiency with CATIA V5
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace industry standards
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques
- Familiarity with stress analysis / finite element modeling
- Background supporting design certification processes
- Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
