· Verify loan terms, conditions, interest rates, maturities, collateral details, and borrower information against approved credit authorizations.

· Ensure all required signatures, acknowledgments, and supporting documentation have been obtained.

· Identify documentation deficiencies and coordinate timely resolution with lenders, loan operations staff, and third-party vendors.

· Support accurate and efficient loan closings through thorough document review and quality assurance practices.

· Help maintain a strong compliance and risk management framework that supports safe and sound lending practices.

Collateral Perfection, Documentation, and Exception Management:

· Ensure the bank's security interests are properly documented and perfected through UCC filings, mortgages, title work, and collateral assignments.

· Review title commitments, insurance policies, and collateral documentation for compliance with lending requirements.

· Monitor collateral-related exceptions and follow up on outstanding documentation needs.

· Work proactively to resolve deficiencies and protect the bank's secured lending position.

· Support accurate collateral tracking and documentation maintenance throughout the life of the loan.

Quality Control:

· Conduct pre-closing and post-closing quality control reviews of loan files.

· Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with bank policies and lending requirements.

· Maintain documentation review checklists and quality assurance standards.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency.

· Participate in departmental audits, risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives.

· Help promote continuous improvement and a strong internal control environment.

Loan Documentation and Records Management:

· Track missing, expired, and outstanding loan documentation.

· Proactively follow up with internal departments, borrowers, and third parties to obtain required information.

· Resolve documentation exceptions and deficiencies in a timely manner.

· Maintain organized and complete loan records in accordance with established standards and procedures.
