The State of New Hampshire, Judicial Branch, Administrative Office of the Courts, has a full-time vacancy for Strategic Funding Initiative Coordinator. Summary: Oversees the full lifecycle of grant administration for grant programs managed by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in the Office of Strategic Funding Initiatives (OSFI) and ensures compliance with all applicable financial, regulatory and reporting requirements. This position is responsible for performing key accounting functions, including reporting, tracking, invoicing and purchasing, in support of grants and other strategic funding-related initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, law, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible grant management experience within a public organization or government setting. Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities as determined by NHJB.

Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the grant administration process, collaborating with program managers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and grant requirements for reporting and the achievement of goals and milestones. Acts as liaison with other federal, state and local agencies associated with the various grants.
Recommends, implements and monitors content of the OSFI Policies and Procedures Manual to ensure compliance with federal and state grant regulations. Audits to establish strong internal controls and evaluation procedures.
Maintains awareness of strategic funding resources and guides program managers in identifying available opportunities for program enhancement and support.
Provides guidance and education to NHJB leadership and stakeholders on applicable regulations, policies and procedures related to grant administration.
Delegates responsibilities to OSFI personnel and provides ongoing supervision, coordination and training to ensure effective and compliant grant administration. Participates in all aspects of performance management, including hiring and performance appraisals.
Oversees grant-related contracts, subawards and services, ensuring all are reviewed and approved in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Assists in the grant-related bidding process, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating and ranking applicants, and administering the disbursement of funds to sub-grantees and grant-related contracts.
Prepares and submits grant applications, including the scope and budget for the utilization of the funds. Submits approved reports and requests drawdowns.
Implements approved sub-recipient monitoring programs. Monitors and evaluates subgrantees as necessary to ensure program compliance and accuracy in reporting. Provides guidance in the development and preparation of grant subawards and agreements, including assistance in budget preparation, documentation, grant interpretation, and funding requirements.
Reviews, coordinates and prepares financial, programmatic, and statistical reports for assigned grant programs and responds to requests from national, state and local government entities for grant-related financial or statistical data.
Maintains grant-related data and records. Distributes grant-related reports to the State Court Administrator, Fiscal Department, Payroll and Accounting and other relevant departments as appropriate and compiles information to support audits and compliance reviews.
Responds to questions and inquiries regarding grant accounting and compliance requirements and attends meetings, presentations, and conferences as requested.
