We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team at The Staff Pad, working closely with a client in Montana who strives to be the gold standard for healthcare.
About This Role:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Wound Care Center under the supervision of a provider.
- Critical thinking, leadership, and multitasking skills are essential to ensure efficient clinic flow and optimal patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to collect and assess patient data.
- Perform and document patient assessments, including physical and pain evaluations.
- Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) after completing training.
- Educate patients and guide them through their care journey.
- Offer emotional support and advocate for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient conditions.
- Assist with referrals and coordinate care.
- Respond to patient calls and ensure timely care delivery.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or recent graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in skin/wound assessment is preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Montana with CPR certification.
- Possession of WCC/CWS certification is desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
