What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Pharmacist - Full-Time position at The Staff Pad?
The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in
Las Vegas, NM and we are looking to hire a Staff Pharmacist to provide safe,
high-quality pharmaceutical care and support medication management across the
hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist
who enjoys working independently, collaborating with healthcare teams, and
making a direct impact on patient safety and outcomes.
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
What You’ll Do
- Oversee
medication procurement, storage, preparation, transcription, and
distribution
- Supervise
and support pharmacy technicians
- Monitor
medication therapy according to established protocols and clinical
monitoring programs
- Provide
drug information and guidance to healthcare providers and patients
- Promote
medication, safety and appropriate pharmaceutical care
- Identify
opportunities to improve pharmacy services and participate in special
projects
- Ensure
pharmacy operations comply with established policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s,
Master’s, or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Current
New Mexico Registered Pharmacist license
- Hospital
pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong
clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability
to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare
team
