The Staff Pad has partnered with a law office in Austin, TX to hire a Lead Trial Attorney
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full docket of personal injury cases independently, from intake through trial or settlement
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
Prepare exhibits, witnesses, and trial strategies
Build and maintain strong client relationships with empathy and clear communication
Collaborate with paralegals, litigation support staff, and co-counsel
Report case progress and participate in strategy sessions with leadership
Ideal Candidate
JD from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in TX, AZ, CO, or NM
1–5 years of litigation experience preferred; trial experience a plus
Strong skills in legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy
Client-focused, detail-oriented, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Willingness to relocate or work onsite as needed

Timely and accurate case management, filings, and motions
Positive client satisfaction and outcomes
Peer and supervisor feedback on trial readiness and legal performance
Achievement of fee goals and quarterly performance benchmarks
