The Staff Pad is partnering with a mission-driven community health organization to hire a Family Medicine Physician in Pomona, California. This is an opportunity to join a respected organization dedicated to serving patients through high-quality, preventative, and primary care services.

Overview
- Provide comprehensive primary care services across the age continuum in a family medicine setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform patient assessments including medical history, physical exams, and care planning
- Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications, treatments, therapies, and immunizations
- Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care
- Support preventative care initiatives and chronic disease management
- Collaborate closely with care teams to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other clinical staff
- Support after-hours on-call coverage on a rotating basis
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, billing compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Contribute to workflow improvements and patient engagement strategies
Additional Details
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem options available
- Productivity expectation of 8.5–10 patients per 4-hour session
- Rotating after-hours physician call schedule required
- Multiple approved clinical service locations within the Pomona area
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted California Physician License
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (required)
- Active DEA License
- Current BLS Certification (AHA approved)
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Strong clinical judgment across acute and chronic care management
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
