EVS Housekeeper

About the Role

The Staff Pad has partnered with Unity Medical Center to hire an EVS Housekeeper. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
  
• Ensure all assigned areas meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards
  
• Properly dispose of trash, biohazard waste, and linens
  
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials
  
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
  
• Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner
  
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs
  
• Work under limited supervision while following written and verbal instructions
  
• Promote a positive and professional environment with patients, staff, and visitors
  
• Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
