Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Float Pool | Multiple Shifts Opportunities

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputed healthcare organization in Helena, MT, with a vision to be the gold standard for healthcare. We are looking for CNAs open to floating between different units.

With direction from a Registered Nurse, the CNA provides direct patient care and assists team members with delegated tasks/procedures within their scope of practice.

The CNA is also required to maintain accurate and timely documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.

Available Opportunities: Float Pool | Days | Nights | Mid-Shift

Shift: Full-Time | Days | Nights | 12-hours

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Use sound judgment to organize time and perform repetitive tasks
  
• Manage stressors, deadlines, difficult situations, and customers effectively
  
• Provide effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer service
  
• Adapt to feedback, changing environments, flexible scheduling, and department assignments
  
• Take ownership of work and build confidence in their contributions
  
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and appropriately with the team
  
• Work collaboratively with the patient care team
  
• Provide a safe environment and therapeutic milieu based on the age of patients served
  
• Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and communicate observed changes in patient behavior/activity to the RN
  

What We Are Looking For

Education and Experience

• Previous hospital/long-term care experience, including the use of medical terminology, preferred
  
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  
• Successful completion of a CNA program
  

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering care aligned with organizational values
  
• Exhibits a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to work productively under stress, a professional demeanor, and the ability to prioritize workloads
  

Certifications

• Current certification as a nursing assistant or enrollment in the organization’s CNA training program, with certification required at the end of the training period
  
• BLS certification required
  
• SECURE Training required within 6 months of hire date, then annually updated
