The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare facility in Helena, MT and is looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist / Certified Hand Therapist (OT/CHT) to join a growing rehab team. If you are passionate about helping patients recover function, confidence, and quality of life after hand and upper-extremity injuries, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do
As an OT/CHT, you will:
- Evaluate and treat patients referred for Occupational Therapy with hand and upper-extremity conditions
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and therapy interventions to support functional recovery and patient independence
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, equipment use, splinting, adaptive strategies and injury recovery
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the broader rehab team to ensure coordinated care
- Accurately document patient progress and complete timely charge entry
- Participate in department initiatives, equipment training, safety programs, and continuous improvement efforts
- Support patients and families navigating trauma, disability, and life-changing injuries with empathy and encouragement
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated therapist who combines strong clinical expertise with a patient-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Montana
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required
- Advanced training and continuing education in hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and effectively coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians
- Demonstrated expertise in providing specialized rehabilitation services for hand and upper-extremity conditions and injuries
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills
