The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected logistics
and warehousing organization to find an experienced Human Resources Generalist.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about
building strong teams, supporting employees, and creating a positive workplace
culture.
The Human Resources Generalist supports all aspects of HR
operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and
development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources and partnering
closely with leadership, this role helps strengthen organizational culture,
ensure compliance with employment laws, and drive the success of the
organization's people and HR initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and
talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Foster a positive workplace culture by supporting
employee relations, resolving concerns, and managing disciplinary actions
and grievances
- Coordinate employee training, professional
development, performance reviews, feedback, goal setting, and career
growth initiatives
- Oversee payroll, employee benefits administration,
and compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive and accurate HR
practices
- Ensure compliance with training initiatives,
employment laws, HR policies, required training, and maintain accurate
employee records and documentation
- Keep up to date with changes in
labor laws and make necessary adjustments to policies and procedure
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning,
organizational development, HR strategy, and process improvements through
HR metrics and reporting
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- 3 years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best
practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and
problem-solving skills
- Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, HR software
tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
