Overview
The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with Oracle Fusion and G‑Invoicing expertise to support a federal financial management implementation in Washington, DC. This consultant will play a key role in configuring, supporting, and optimizing Oracle financial solutions with a focus on federal payment processing and intergovernmental transactions.
The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with G‑Invoicing and Oracle Fusion Financials, along with a strong understanding of Oracle Federal Financials and government payment workflows. Experience with Fusion may come from either federal or commercial implementations. This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC. The role will initially require onsite support approximately 3–4 days per week, with the expectation that onsite presence may decrease over time as the project matures.
Per contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders and be able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Financials and G ‑ Invoicing
- Support design, configuration, and functional validation of Oracle financial modules within a federal environment
- Provide functional support for G ‑ Invoicing business processes, including intergovernmental billing and settlement
- Support payment processing workflows and financial transaction lifecycle activities
- Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities
- Provide functional documentation, training support, and end ‑ user guidance as needed
- Demonstrated hands ‑ on experience with G ‑ Invoicing
- Functional experience with Oracle Fusion Financials (federal or commercial implementations accepted)
- Experience supporting payment processing in a financial or ERP environment
- Knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials
- Understanding of federal financial management processes and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross ‑ functional project teams
- Prior experience supporting large federal financial system implementations
- Experience with functional testing, UAT coordination, or post‑production support
- Familiarity with federal shared services or interagency financial processes
