Oracle EBS - System/Solution Architect

Job Description

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS System/Solution Architect to support an upcoming federal program focused on the operations, maintenance, modernization, and continuous improvement of a mission-critical enterprise financial management system.

The System/Solution Architect will provide senior-level technical leadership for a large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment, helping to ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with evolving business and federal requirements. This position will work across architecture, application integration, modernization, cloud technologies, security, and enterprise financial systems while collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position in the Annapolis, MD area and is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• 12 years of experience in enterprise-scale solution or systems architecture.
• Significant experience architecting and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or other large-scale Oracle ERP environments.
• Experience supporting federal financial management systems or similarly complex enterprise financial platforms.
• Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL database technologies.
• Experience with enterprise integration, APIs, web services, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, system integration, scalability, performance, and availability.
• Experience working within federal cybersecurity and compliance environments, including NIST 800-53 and/or FedRAMP requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 or 6.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a large federal Oracle EBS implementation or operations and maintenance environment.
• Prior experience supporting the Department of Labor or comparable federal financial management environments.
• Experience with Oracle EBS modernization, upgrades, and custom application modernization.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and modern web application frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle Analytics and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience integrating Oracle EBS with external federal systems and services.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Experience identifying and applying AI and emerging technologies to enterprise applications, architecture, automation, or analytics.
• Strong client-facing and team-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across technical and business teams.
