The Role:
As a Business Development Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing a network of strategic partners. You’ll lead outreach efforts, manage inbound opportunities, and play a key role in expanding referral channels and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partner Outreach: Prospect and connect with potential partners via phone, email, and LinkedIn, while consistently following up on inbound opportunities
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships while identifying new collaboration opportunities
- Sales Development: Own and execute a strategy to grow your book of business and exceed revenue targets
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a high-performing sales team to drive results
- Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends and adjust your approach to stay competitive
What We’re Looking For:
- High drive and motivation with a strong desire to exceed goals
- Sales experience (phone-based sales and/or account management preferred)
- Strong networking ability, with LinkedIn experience (1,000 connections preferred)
- Coachable and adaptable mindset — someone who takes feedback and executes
- Excellent communication skills across phone and email
- Problem-solving ability with strong organization and prioritization skills
- Self-starter mentality who can work independently and as part of a team
