Position: Treatment Nurse
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with an on-call rotation required
Qualifications:
RN preferred
Long-term care (LTC) experience required
Wound care experience required
If an LPN, wound care certification is required
Responsibilities:
Administer and document treatments
Communicate residents' status to other nurses and doctors
Assess residents' reactions to medications and treatments
Consult with the Director of Nursing (DON) and other licensed personnel regarding residents' dermatological disorders
Plan and develop skin care treatments
Initiate requests for consults and referrals as needed
