What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) and RNs (Registered Nurse) position at The Springs?
) 1. Interview resident/families as necessary and make discharge arrangements.
2. Maintain an excellent working relationship with the residents, family members, co-workers, etc. Monthly care plan meetings.
3. Make oral reports/recommendations to the administrator concerning the operation of the social/- Works with Delta Dental, Vision, hospice, mental health etc.
4. Report all incidents/accidents to the supervisor on duty.
5. Provide information to resident/families as to the activity programs available to the residents.
6. Be alert to any change in residents/condition. Report to charge/staff nurse immediately.
7. Invite and encourage residents to participate in day's activities and assist in discovering methods to motivate residents' interest in life and the community.
8. Work with the facility's consultants as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
9. Make routine visits to residents and perform assistance with crafts, projects, etc., as necessary.
10. Assist in arranging transportation for field trips, doctor appointments, etc.
11. Help to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
12. Follow universal precautions.
13. Maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
