Job Overview
Banquet Event Server: $16/hr gratuity- The Springs Weddings and Events in Dallas, TX, is looking for full-time and part-time banquet event servers to join our growing catering team during this winter season! We work exclusively with The Springs Weddings and Event venues around the Greater Dallas Area, catering to clients for their weddings, anniversaries, quinceañeras, corporate events, and more! Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, hard-working, and a fast learner.

- Flexible availability as wedding and event seasons fluctuate throughout the year. Most events occur on weekends, though occasionally we have weekday events as well.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to ALL of The Springs Event Venues in the Dallas area: Denton, McKinney, White Sparrow, Waxahachie, Weatherford, Alvarado, Arlington, Rockwall, and Valley View.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be comfortable standing for the entire shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations providing a high level of hospitality.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude toward guests, coworkers and management.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
- Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Listen carefully and follow leadership to complete any tasks required of the event, from set up to service to breakdown, including clearing tables of dishes and trash, and emptying trash bins in appropriate locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Food/Catering service experience of 1-3 years preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Experience in restaurants or hotels is a plus, along with any coffee service experience.
