Position Overview

The Assistant Executive Director at The Springs at Lake Oswego plays a key leadership role in supporting day-to-day community operations, staff development, and resident satisfaction. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position helps ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and a positive culture for residents and team members alike. This role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on leader with experience in senior living or healthcare operations who is passionate about quality, service, and people.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Support daily community operations and leadership initiatives
• 
  Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director
• 
  Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff
• Conducts tours and meets with prospective residents in support of our sales team and our occupancy goals
• 
  Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and team members
• 
  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• 
  Assist with budgeting, financial variance reporting, and operational oversight
• 
  Support staff development, dining services, and resident engagement activities

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree
• 
  3 years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or related field
• 
  Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• 
  Experience with staff development, operations, and compliance
• 
  Proficient with standard computer applications (email, Word, Excel, etc.)
