Job Description
The Springs at The Waterfront is looking for experienced and compassionate Medication Technicians. As a Med Tech, you contribute to the mission of helping our residents live their lives to the fullest. You will serve as a leader to others on the floor during your shift while administering medications to our residents, working closely with other providers, and communicating with all parts of the resident’s care team as needed.

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Medication Technician position, with an hourly wage of $19-$23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description
The Springs at The Waterfront is looking for experienced and compassionate Medication Technicians. As a Med Tech, you contribute to the mission of helping our residents live their lives to the fullest. You will serve as a leader to others on the floor during your shift while administering medications to our residents, working closely with other providers, and communicating with all parts of the resident’s care team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administration and assistance with self-administering medications to residents.
- Measure vital signs including, weight, height, blood pressure, etc.
- Communicating with physicians and their offices.
- Implementing medication orders.
- Observe, report, and document any resident changes, and inform appropriate parties.
- Other duties as directed by the RSC, DHS, or Administrator.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) certificate or Home Care Aide (HCA) certificate required
- WA Nurse Delegation Certificate required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 35 lbs routinely
- 2 years experience administering meds in high volume setting highly preferred
