Job Description
What You’ll Do: As a Medication Technician, you’ll play an essential role in supporting resident health and safety. Daily responsibilities include:
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in residents’ health or behavior
- Performing delegated tasks such as blood sugar testing or insulin administration (as assigned)
- Maintaining proper storage and management of medications
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Communicating with nurses, physicians, and pharmacies to ensure continuity of care
- Acting as a leader and point person during your shift, including responding to emergencies
- Maintaining a clean, organized medication room and accurate documentation
- Collaborating closely with caregivers and other team members to support resident well-being

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum age 18
- Previous experience in a Med Tech or Med Aide role
- A passion for serving seniors and making a difference every day
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Previous medication administration experience using an EMAR system
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand /walk up to eight hours per day
- Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.
