What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boba Barista position at The Spot?

Role: You will create a positive customer experience through excellent service and expertly crafted beverages. Our baristas bring a friendly demeanor to our energetic store environment, working as part of a team to create the high-quality drinks we are known for. Key attributes for the position include strong organizational skills, the ability to get along with others, and a commitment to customer service.
Duties:
- Be a “people person” and greet customers
- Enjoy working as a team
- Answer questions about the beverage menu
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about hot-brewing equipment used to make coffee, tea, and other drinks
- Take orders accurately
- Cut limes, lemons, and fruits
- Restock on cups, lids, straws, sleeves for hot beverages, to-go bags, and napkins
- Prepare beverages according to instructions
- Receive and process payments
- Clean and restock beverage refrigerator an boba prep station
- Fill bottle containers of syrups
- Clean and maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
- Comply with health regulations
- Ensure dine-in and take-out orders are completed in a reasonable time
- Be able to host and seat customers
- Keep the restroom maintained during and after shift
Additional requirements: Able to walk or stand for long periods. Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 35 per week
