Job Description
The Spirit Shoppe in Kalamazoo, MI is a local business specializing in screen printing, embroidery, promotional products and WMU apparel. We are seeking a detail oriented, organized and hardworking individual to take on a full-time embroidery position. We are looking for somebody who can embroider or is willing to learn, assist in maintaining a production schedule, perform quality control and help with embroidery. Embroidery help includes but is not limited to logo set-up, hooping, trimming, thread breaks, pressing and order check-in. Experience with screen printing and embroidery is preferred, but not required. This job is a manual job with 8 hours of standing and lifting.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, coordinate, delegate and manage multiple work activities
- Attention to detail and overall quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional attitude
- Learn and retain new skills quickly through hands-on teaching
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire 8 hour shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- At least 2 years in a screen printing or embroidery environment
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
