We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Inventory and Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage inventory accuracy, operate heavy equipment, and ensure efficient order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools to load, unload, and transport goods safely.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology to track stock levels accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain high standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, updating inventory records, and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manual handling procedures.
- Support warehouse distribution tasks such as stocking shelves, loading trucks, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and distribution environments.
- Certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use and manual handling techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock movement or order picking.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with material handling equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate inventory management.
