Hap & Hooch is a locally owned, community-driven 5-Star Dive Bar in Jupiter, FL—known for smashburgers, elevated bar food, and a no-ego, high-energy kitchen. We're looking for a Kitchen Manager who leads from the line, runs a tight operation, and takes pride in putting out consistent, crave-worthy food.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants real ownership over the kitchen.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily kitchen operations with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and ticket times during high-volume service
- Enforce cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with ownership on menu execution, specials, and process improvements
- Control waste, prep efficiency, and portioning to protect margins
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Line Cook or Kitchen Manager
- Strong line skills
- Proven ability to manage people without ego or micromanaging
- Solid understanding of food cost, prep systems, and inventory
- Calm under pressure and comfortable during busy services
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
