Our client, The Solomon Organization, is currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This position is located ON SITE in Troy, NY.

YOUR ROLE
The Apartment Maintenance Technician will have a minimum of six months previous experience in a related field of maintenance. EPA Type I and/or II certifications preferred. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm M-F on-call and snow removal efforts.
- Complete service work orders within 48 hours.
- Perform general tasks like painting, grounds maintenance, and equipment repairs.
- Refurbish vacant units within five working days.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Operate tools and equipment (including snow removal).
- Maintain grounds and report damage and injuries.
- Follow local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience with snow removal equipment is a plus.
- HVAC certification, preferred.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on-call.
