About the Role
Solar Scouts is hiring driven, disciplined individuals to join our Appointment Setting team as contractors during a structured 90-day onboarding period. You will be the first point of contact for homeowners exploring solar. Your job is simple: verify, qualify, and schedule appointments for our closers.
You don’t have to sell — you just have to be consistent, sharp, and excellent on the phone.
High performers will be offered a full-time position after onboarding.
Pay Structure
Appointment payouts are based on monthly performance tier:
- Red Tier: $15 per qualified appointment
- Yellow Tier: $30 per qualified appointment
- Green Tier: $50 per qualified appointment
- Elite Tier: $70 per qualified appointment
Most new setters begin hitting Green and Elite by month 2–3.
Minimum Earnings Guarantee:
Solar Scouts provides a performance-contingent minimum earnings guarantee of $6,000 during the 90-day onboarding period.
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to homeowners
- Use our proven scripts (no experience required)
- Verify homeowner identity and property info
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria
- Schedule appointments for closers
- Log daily activity in our CRM
- Attend training, daily standups, and weekly performance reviews
