The Silo Club (formerly Indian Creek Club) – Golf Maintenance Dept. Hiring Full-Time & Seasonal Workers

The Silo Club is seeking hardworking individuals for full-time and seasonal positions in the Golf Maintenance Department. The club is currently undergoing a course renovation and offers a fun, positive, and outdoor-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to create and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with golf rules and course etiquette
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds to shoulder height
• Ability to climb in and out of golf carts and other modes of transportation
• Comfortable maneuvering along walkways, trails, and undeveloped areas
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (in person, over the phone, and via electronic or handwritten formats)
• Ability to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and the community

Responsibilities:

The Golf Course Groundskeeper assists in the maintenance and operation of The Silo Club.

Key Duties:

• Mow and trim tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens
• Operate mowing equipment, hand trimmers, golf carts, hand rakes, shovels, and other necessary tools
• Assist in irrigation system repairs and maintenance
• Maintain power equipment, including daily cleaning and monitoring for necessary maintenance
• Perform general golf course maintenance, including changing cup positions, moving tee blocks, hand watering, and debris removal (sticks and leaves)
• Clean and wash golf carts
• Ensure overall course cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule & Availability:

• Duration: Full-time and seasonal positions available
• Work Hours: 8-hour shifts overtime (flexible scheduling available)
• Weekends: Some weekend shifts required (based on golf course needs)

You must be able to work 40 hours August, September, and October

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
