Electrician

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will perform electrical jobs for all Siegel affiliated properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Perform electrical work orders in a timely manner in order to keep tenants and management satisfied and promote long term stay and building improvement.

· Perform monthly surveys to maintain a safe environment. Panel covers intact, no exposed wiring, broken outlets, light surveys.

· Train property maintenance as needed on basic electrical maintenance.

· Accept on-call responsibilities as reported by supervisor in order to assist management with any issues.

· Update management on the status of projects and workability

· Communicate with management, customers, tenants, and coworkers effectively.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· Electrician certification

· 4 years electrician experience

· Knowledge in electrical maintenance, including but not limited to: lighting surveys/installs, breaker panel repair, apartment electrical, restaurant electrical, conduit installation.

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English, bi-lingual a plus.

· Tools, reliable vehicle.

· Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines

· Sense of urgency and prioritization

· Ability to success in a deadline driven environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, kneeling

· Potential bending, lifting, and carrying up to 100 lbs.

· Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Schedule flexibility including nights and weekends where necessary
