As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional workmanship.
Duties
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
- Utilize airless paint spraying techniques to apply paint and finish repairs.
- Conduct thorough auto estimating to assess damage and determine repair costs.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
- Execute welding tasks to reinforce structural integrity of vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically in bodywork and painting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques as required for moving parts and equipment.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, enhancing client interactions.
- Skills in auto estimating, airless paint spraying, fabrication, welding, and general mechanic duties are highly desirable.
