This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the overall functionality of vehicles. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand tools and power tools to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Weld components as necessary to ensure the integrity of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems.
- Experience working specifically with Hot Rod vehicles is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to align vehicles accurately as part of the maintenance process.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
