Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our Pre-Litigation Personal Injury team. The ideal Case manager will be responsible to handling personal injury cases under the supervision of senior case managers and attorneys to maximize client personal injury cases. Case manager duties include handling claims opening procedures, initial letters of representation, property damage, personal injury case workup, treatment monitoring and coordination to assist clients to maximize treatment and care for their personal injury cases, gathering medical records and bills, handling liens, and preparing cases for demand writers and negotiation team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients;
• Manage personal injury cases in the property damage and treatment stage and assist clients with coordination and scheduling;
• Review and analysis of medical records;
• Reporting to senior case managers and attorneys on client treatment status;
• Review property damage estimates, photographs, and insurance coverage documents to ascertain potential case settlement value;
• Handle case assignments, draft service plans, review case progress and determine case closure;
• Update clients weekly on case progress and needs;
• Data entry into client management database;
• Communicate with insurance adjusters;
• Organize and manage client files and prepare settlement demands once clients have completed medical treatment;
• Gather medical records, bills, and liens from medical providers and health insurance companies.
  
  

Skills:

• Proven working experience in personal injury case management;
• Excellent knowledge of case management principles;
• Previous experience of 2-4 years in personal injury plaintiff law firm;
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Familiarity with personal injury injury treatment and case workup;
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task;
• Compassionate with teamwork skills;
• Computer fluency with Microsoft Outlook and Casepeer case management software;
• Bilingual Spanish Speaker is a must.
