Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Fridays reserved as flex/mental health day
Employment Type: Part-Time, W-2
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
About the Role
TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services is seeking a Program Supervisor (Qualified Professional) for our Outpatient Therapy (OPT) program in Charlotte. This is a non-clinical leadership role that blends program oversight, therapist accountability, documentation quality, and service coordination for clients.
Working under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Program Supervisor ensures therapists stay compliant and engaged, while also helping link clients to resources, monitor follow-through, and coordinate services that support client goals.
This is an excellent role for a Qualified Professional (QP) who is organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to lead and support both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Therapist Oversight & Accountability
- Serve as the in-office point of contact for therapists during scheduled hours.
- Hold weekly performance check-ins (non-clinical) and lead team meetings.
- Monitor therapist responsiveness, caseload activity, and follow-through.
- Escalate unresolved performance or compliance issues to the Clinical Director.
Documentation & Compliance Support
- Review therapy notes, treatment plans, and discharges for timeliness and accuracy.
- Track documentation trends and follow up with therapists on corrections.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure Medicaid and agency standards are met.
Client Service Coordination (QP Functions)
- Help link clients to appropriate community resources (housing, employment, social supports).
- Monitor client engagement and ensure services are consistent and effective.
- Coordinate across therapists and programs to support client goals outlined in Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).
- Document service coordination activities in compliance with Medicaid and agency standards.
Program Operations
- Assist with therapist scheduling, client assignments, and program flow.
- Prepare and submit a Weekly Supervisor Report to the Clinical Director.
- Support onboarding of new therapists by introducing documentation expectations and program structure.
What This Role Does Not Include
- No therapy sessions
- No CCAs
- No clinical license required
- No clinical supervision (all clinical oversight remains with the Clinical Director)
Qualifications
- Must meet NC QP Standards:
- Master’s in Human Services 1 year MH/DD/SAS experience, OR
- Bachelor’s in Human Services 2 years MH/DD/SAS experience, OR
- Bachelor’s in other field 4 years MH/DD/SAS experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid service definitions and clinical documentation standards.
- Experience in service coordination, case management, or program support.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
