About The Seven
The Seven is a premier event venue in Ferndale, Michigan, hosting weddings, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations. We combine beautiful spaces with thoughtful hospitality to create memorable guest experiences—and that experience begins the moment someone walks through our doors.
We’re looking for a friendly, polished, and dependable Coat Check & Guest Services Attendant who takes pride in welcoming guests and keeping our venue comfortable and presentable throughout each event.
Please Read: How Our Schedule Works
This is a part-time, event-based position—not a full-time job or a position with a set weekly schedule. Some weeks may offer several events, while other weeks may have no events at all. This can be a great supplemental income opportunity alongside school, another job, or other commitments.
Once hired, you’ll join our team app, where we share available event shifts. You can accept or pass on opportunities based on your availability. Once you accept a shift, you must be dependable and available to work the entire scheduled shift, including the end of the event when guests retrieve their belongings.
Most events begin around 5 or 6 p.m. and end between 9 p.m. and midnight. We also occasionally host luncheons and daytime events. Events may fall on weekdays just as often as weekends. Each event’s schedule is different.

- A reliable person who can work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Someone who notices what needs attention and takes action without waiting to be asked.
