What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lighting Designer position at The SEED?
We’re Hiring: Junior / Intermediate Lighting Designer (0–2 Years Experience):
Join our growing team at The Seed Lighting! We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented designer who is passionate about lighting and eager to gain hands-on experience across all phases of architectural design.
What You’ll Do:
• Support a variety of tasks across all architectural phases
• Collaborate with the team on design development and documentation
• Assist with lighting layouts, calculations, and technical drawings
• Contribute to creative problem-solving and project execution
What We’re Looking For:
• 0–2 years of experience in lighting or architectural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with lighting design calculations (AGi32 preferred; LightStanza is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-starter with a proactive and motivated mindset
• Genuine passion for lighting design
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with LightStanza
• Experience with 3D printing
