What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant position at The Schochet Companies?
Schochet is currently seeking Pool Attendants.
Bay View Estates is a family apartment community located in Portsmouth, RI.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Validate each individual’s eligibility to enter and use the pool.
- Ensure the rules of the pool are maintained. Periodically check the pool facilities to make sure everything is proper working order.
- Ensure the pool area are property maintained and clean. Pick up garbage, return moved furniture to its proper location, and place trash in outside receptacles.
- Check and lock all doors at closing time.
- Answer resident’s questions or direct them to the correct property staff.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by Property Manager.
- Clean and sanitize pool area during the day.
You will be validating residency for using the facilities, locking up at the end of the shift, & picking up/cleaning facility at the end of the shift. Must be able to work independently, strong customer service skills, assertive people person to enforce all POOL RULES & REGULATIONS. CPR and Lifeguarding certifications a plus, but not required.
The pool is open 7 days a week from 9:30am-6:00pm. Must be able to work flexible hours including, weekends, evenings, days and holidays. This position lasts Memorial Day through Labor Day.
