Pool Attendant (Seasonal)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members, and guests at our pool facility. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a passion for hospitality. As a Pool Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, assisting members, and guests with their needs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure members safety and adherence to facility rules.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, and guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including lounges, restrooms, and surrounding spaces.
• Assist in setting up and managing events held at the pool.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently when selling food or beverage items.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Engage with children and families to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction.
• Proficient in conflict management to effectively resolve issues as they arise.
• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with lifeguard duties is an asset but not required.
• Ability to handle transactions responsibly.
• Experience working with children is beneficial for creating a family-friendly environment.
