Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete knowledge and understanding of safe press brake operations.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• The capacity to read prints and drawings, including but not limited to 1st angle, 3rd angle, as well as hand sketches.
• The ability to write CNC programs to form complex sheet meatal parts using information on provided prints and drawings.
• Must be able and willing to run large volume production orders efficiently.
• Have complete knowledge of measuring tools used to verify parts, tape measures, protractors, combination square and other attachments, dial calipers, etc.
• Spent 8 hours standing at machine forming parts.
• Be responsible for the safety of any additional workers assisting in the forming of oversized sheet metal parts.
• Have a complete understanding of the forming of all sheet metal materials, and the tooling that is required to do so.
• Competence in using equipment to assist in the lifting of large sheet metal parts before during and after the forming operation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Press operation, metal fabrication, welding, or assembly experience preferred.

Necessary Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time during a regular workday.
• Must be able to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Must be able to climb up and down ladders.
• Must be able to work while in stooped, kneeling, or crouched position.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to pull pallet jack weighing up to 200 pounds.
• Will work in manufacturing environment that includes exposure to dirt, heat, noise, odors, vibration, dust, cold, and fumes.
