This position is responsible for:
- Plans, implements, supervises members and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, supporting the priority outcome areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements and administers programs, services and activities for members in an effective manner.
- May oversee special programs and services such as Youth of Year programs, or Youth of the Month.
- Monitors and evaluates programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in programs and appearance of the branch at all times. Prepare periodic activity reports.
- Assists with implementation of outreach efforts to sustain and increase program membership and program participation.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations and follow emergency procedures.
- Ability to multi-task, ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a safe and effective manner.
- Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.
