Kitchen Assistant - PT (Center of Hope)

Location:  Palm Beach Area Command/Center of Hope – WPB, FL Position Type:  Kitchen Assistant – Part Time Pay Rate:  $17.20 p/h        About this opportunity: Assists in preparing meals, beverages and snacks; washes and chops fruits and vegetables; mixes beverages and arranges snacks. Assists in serving meals ensuring appropriate proportions are provided. Washes, dries, and stores pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, bowls, and utensils. Cleans tables, chairs, and condiment holders Cleans refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, coffee makers, stoves, and ovens. Stocks foods, beverages, and supplies in an orderly and safe manner. Empties trash cans. What we are looking for in you: None. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting. Works is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
