Overview
The Salvation Army’s Athol Corps., is hiring a Dance Instructor and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: 107 Ridge Ave., Athol, MA
Hours/week: 2-5 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
*starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
The Performing Arts Dance Instructor is responsible for presenting a positive and competent image of The Salvation Army through a quality dance program designed to meet the needs of the children. Assist as a Kid’s club aid and do drama skits with the children.

Education Requirements:
High School or GED Required
Work Experience:
1 years of experience teaching interpretive dance
Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to work and relate well with people, particularly children
- Must be able to cover the program when Corps Officer is away
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs
- Must be able to meet all health and safety regulations as defined by the Health Department and The Salvation Army.
- Must be able to teach large and small groups of children ranging from age 4 to 12
