POSITION TITLE: Field Representative
LOCATION/DEPT: Pathway Forward Program
REPORTS TO: Program Manager – Operations
FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt

PAY GRADE: 202
PAY RANGE: $17.00 – $20.40
OUTCOMES
The Field Representative conducts spot checks of resident accommodations and activities in the community to ensure that the individual’s absence from the Pathway Forward Program location meets the requirements of the Bureau of Prisons.
Sufficient administrative support will be provided to the Program Manager – Operations to ensure that program duties are effectively achieved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts spot checks of residential sites (for proposed and actual passes and home confinement), job sites (claimed employment), schools (claimed enrollment) and other locations as directed to determine whether the resident’s representations have been true and accurate.
- This position may require driving up to 200-mile radius from the facility (which includes Northern Indiana and Central Illinois).
- Immediately reports, in writing, all apparent or suspected resident irregularities, discrepancies, or improprieties to the Reentry Case Manager.
- Completes all required documentation, reports, and logging as directed and in a timely manner.
- Maintain all required credentials, including annual training and CPR/First Aid/AED certification, as designated by The Salvation Army and contracting agencies.
- Works as a Correctional Monitor when the Program Manager – Operations deems it necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Program Manager – Operations.
This position requires frequent interaction with the Reentry Case Managers, Shift Managers, and
Correctional Monitors.
In contacts related to this position’s duties, this individual acts as a representative of the Army and its mission.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved, as well as the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of performance.
A performance review will be conducted.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: security, corrections, or social services is required.
- Valid Driver’s license and the ability to pass the Salvation Army MVR check.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid (FA), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification preferred.

POSITION LIMITATIONS
- This individual will only commit Army resources that have been allocated or approved.
- This individual will keep the Program Manager – Operations informed on all critical issues relating to their area of responsibility.
- This individual will adhere to all policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position is required to do light physical work and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
- In order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to use standard office equipment and a PC.
- The work environment for this position is a residential environment with a low to moderate noise level.
- Must be able to drive for extended periods of time and over long distances as required by the job.
- Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
