Schedule/Hours: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
This position is responsible for:
Plans, administers, coordinates, and monitors the Human Resource functions for employees of the Martin County, FL Corps. Serves as a liaison between the Corps and Divisional Headquarters regarding personnel functions and policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains personnel records for all employees.
- Enforces the Worker's Together employee manual.
- Coordinates recruitment and onboarding activities for the command. Processes background checks and related appeals for the location. Processes I-9 forms and E-Verify. Assigns required employee training.
- Assists employees with benefits including new hire and open enrollment, paid time off and leaves of absence.
- Helps coordinate annual and 90-day performance review process. Answers employee questions about the same.
- Participates, with appropriate management, in the disciplinary and termination processes necessary; advises management as needed; communicates appropriately with Divisional Headquarters to ensure proper procedures are taken and followed.
- Ensures compliance with personnel rules and regulations and maintains the confidential nature of the position.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration or a related field, AND
- Three years progressively responsible experience working in a human resource office, OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
